Soukeyna "Souki" Ndiaye
Instructor
Soukenya is a current student at NYU pursuing B.S. degree in Computer Science May 2016 expected graduate, looking to go into engineering in the future. As an instructor for STEAM Kids Lab, she draws upon previous experiences from a childhood afterschool program as well as relevant events in the various sciences. Souki loves the aspect of using art as a way to learn and express technical subjects and often incorporates a creative component to lessons in hopes of combining knowledge with imagination in young minds.
Elizabeth "Libby" Horacek
Instructor
Libby started programming and making websites when she was 12 years old. She was born and raised in West Virginia before moving to New York this year to attend the prestigious Recurse Center in Manhattan. She currently working at a technology firm developing websites in Ruby and Haskell. She also loves drawing, sewing, roller skating and building fun hardware projects
Gearod Murphy
Bronx Science Intern
Gearod is a student at Bronx Science High School. A gifted artist and student, Gearod enjoys Lego figurines and a vast comic book collection.He is one of our in-house tutors and definitely a natural maker and illustrator.
